I want to live in Spain

** Amazon Number One Best Seller ** In the middle of a dreary drawn out English winter, Mark Harrison and his wife Vivien suddenly took stock of their lives and decided it was time for a change. Ten months later they had resigned from their jobs, sold their house in leafy Surrey and moved to a new home in the mountains inland from Spain’s Costa Blanca. This is the story of how they got there and how they fared in their new surroundings. I want to live in Spain will make you laugh at their innocence and cry at their misfortunes. It is essential reading for anyone who has ever dreamed of moving out of the fast lane to find a new life in the sun. “How good to read a Spanish lifestyle book that doesn’t involve going native in some far flung outpost. This couple did what we all dream of – selling up and moving to an ordinary house to start a new life on the Costa Blanca. The author’s honesty and self-deprecating style are refreshing as he takes us through the triumphs and disasters of his early days in Spain. Full of colourful anecdotes and keen observation and with a humorous insight into the Spanish way of life, this book is well worth a read.” – P. Aspinall (Herfordshire UK).Read more
