Big Lake Ninja

When someone dressed in a ninja costume was first seen lurking around homes in Big Lake, everyone assumed it was some kind of teenage mischief. Things escalated when the ninja was spotted peeking in people’s windows. Sheriff Weber and his deputies are on the lookout for the mysterious prankster, and more sightings seem to come in every day. Things take a deadly turn when the ninja singles out a respected local businessman and attacks him with a sword. More attacks follow and soon the whole town is on edge, locking their doors and loading their guns. Who would want to hurt the nicest man in town, and why? The answer will come in a tragic showdown that will leave two people dead and the people in the small mountain town asking themselves how well they really know their neighbors and friends. One reviewer has referred to the Big Lake mystery series as “Mayberry Meets Twin Peaks." It’s a combination of humor and intrigue that launched author Nick Russell’s first Big Lake book into Amazon’s Top 100 Paid Kindle books for over 78 days, and Big Lake Ninja, the sixteenth book in this popular series, is sure to be a hit, too!Read more
