Among Kings follows Sheppard and Lapsley deep into the heart of the dangerous, Belgian-controlled Congo. Traveling by steamship 1,000 miles up the Congo River, these two green missionaries battle lurking pythons, disease, cannibal tribes . . . and Leopold’s sinister army.
