He walks through the reality on the ground: twin mega-pyramids at El Mirador, a mile-long raised causeway between them, and an entire city sitting on a man-made platform in the middle of jungle that still feels endless today. Then he connects the dots to the Inca—mountain-top lookouts near Machu Picchu built to bounce signals across valleys—and shows how this “horizon web” can even predict where lost cities are. #podcastclips #history #mayacivilization
