When God Interrupted the Plan | Matt Thornton Ep. 48

Paglalarawan

This early Echoes Unfiltered conversation with Matt Thornton is being re-released as part of the final stretch of Season One. Matt served in law enforcement with a Northern Illinois police department while I was working nearby in another Northern Illinois agency. In this conversation, he opens up about depression, the moment he was planning to take his life, and the sign from God that stopped him in his tracks. That moment changed the direction of his life. Matt later started My Father’s Business, a ministry built around reaching young people through basketball, food, and a message of faith, hope, and purpose. During the month of June, I’ll be bringing some of these early Spotify conversations over to YouTube and the video side before Season One wraps up at the end of the month. Season Two begins in July. Real Talk. Raw Faith. Stay Unfiltered.
