The search for Syria’s 100,000 detained - exclusive new film screening and webinar

Paglalarawan

Forced disappearances are used in Syria as a weapon of war, and create a violent limbo for whole families and communities. The depth of this violence affects the lives of hundreds of thousands of Syrians - in Syria and beyond. Watch the award-winning director of the new film 'Ayouni' Yasmin Fedda in conversation with Noura Ghazi, a human rights lawyer and activist, and Amer Matar, a former detainee and campaigner for his brother who was kidnapped by ISIS. The discussion is chaired by Rula Asad, Executive Director of the Syrian Female Journalists’ Network (SFJN).
