The REAL Reason Every NewJeans Member Is Being SUED Right Now

Paglalarawan

NewJeans is officially in the middle of one of the biggest legal battles of their career, and every single member has been pulled directly into it. Just as fans were finally getting hope that things might be stabilizing thanks to Minji's surprise return at her birthday event and ADOR's positive update about her future with the group, a brand new plagiarism lawsuit has hit HYBE, ADOR, and all five NewJeans members in the United States. Four songwriters are now claiming that NewJeans' 2024 hit How Sweet allegedly copied their rejected demo One of a Kind, pointing to matching keys, time signatures, and a 31-note melodic sequence as supposed evidence. ADOR has officially denied the allegations and made it clear they intend to fight the case rather than settle quietly, but fans are absolutely stunned that Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein have all been personally named as defendants. With Minji's mysterious six-bunny postcard drawing still sparking debate, Min Hee Jin's lingering shadow over ADOR, and Danielle's status still unclear, this lawsuit could not have come at a more chaotic moment for NewJeans. We're breaking down exactly why this lawsuit is happening, what the songwriters are demanding, how ADOR is responding, and what this could mean for NewJeans' future as a group.
