Shandesh - Mamenemene (feat. DJ Janisto & King Salah)

Paglalarawan

Shandesh is back and bolder than ever with her latest release, “Mamenemene”, a raw and unfiltered anthem that calls out the snakes in the grass. The term mamenemene refers to two-faced individuals, those who pretend to support you but secretly root for your downfall. With its sharp lyrics, high-energy production, and streetwise message, this single is an unapologetic ode to resilience and reality. Following the massive success of her breakout hit “Sdudla or Slender, which recently crossed 10 million streams across platforms, Shandesh is cementing her place as one of the most vital new voices in the South African music scene. Her unique sound is redefining the Lekompo genre, a rapidly growing subculture that fuses Bolo House, Kwaito, and trap inspired production with bold township storytelling. “Mamenemene” is a message to every dreamer who’s had to hustle through envy, fake love, and backhanded praise. Shandesh’s unmistakable vocal style, confident delivery, and lyrical grit make this one of the most relatable and hard-hitting records in the genre right now. With each release, Shandesh is pushing Lekompo into new spaces, bridging grassroots authenticity with national mainstream appeal, all while flying the flag for fierce, unapologetic women in music.
