ISEAL's Patrick Mallet walks us through the latest developments in EU regulation for corporate sustainability reporting and claims. Over the last two years, there has been a surprisingly rapid evolution in the regulatory space around company obligations for climate and sustainability reporting, disclosure, and claims. This includes new due diligence regulations on environmental and human rights risks, crackdowns on sustainability claims-making, and climate and nature disclosure frameworks that governments are adopting. These new regulations could have far-reaching impacts on sustainability systems. This SAN AgroTalk explores some of these new developments and their implications.
