Palestinian Pocahontas

Paglalarawan

I’m a Comedian and Actor NOT a professional singer (so be gentle🤣) When my soul sis @isratalks daughter - my sweet Palestinian niece Tams - said she really wanted to do a 🇵🇸 version of the song from Pocahontas and perform it live ACCAPELLA to a sold out crowd, I knew I HAD to help make that dream come true for her! SHE wrote the lyrics, we rehearsed privately and then brought her on stage to close out my set as part of @dubomedy’s For the Love of the Levant: Art for a Cause Event. I couldn’t be more proud of Tams, and the younger ones across the globe, raising their voices in the name of peace, justice, freedom and love. They give me hope for humanity. 🤲🏽❤️ It’s @not_controversial_ to use your art, your platform, your voice to speak up against atrocities. It’s controversial NOT to! 🎈Cover and middle art by the wonderful @tiril.valeur ✊🏽Final slide by the dope @fetchart.ca
