Packing For The Philippines: Filipina Expat's Unusual Pasalubong Gifts!

Paglalarawan

#filipina #filipinavlogger #overseasfilipino I'm finally going home to the Philippines, and my suitcase is FULL of surprises! As a Filipina living abroad, Filipino culture means I can't show up empty-handed — pasalubong is non-negotiable. But this time, I'm bringing my family gifts they've never seen before. In this Philippines travel vlog, I'm sharing exactly what I'm packing, why I chose these unusual items, and how I fit everything into one suitcase despite the chaos of international travel in 2025 — including flight cancellations and airport delays. Whether you're a Filipina expat heading home, an OFW planning your balikbayan trip, or just curious what a Filipina actually packs for a Philippines homecoming — this one's for you. 00:00 Heading Back to the Philippines 00:32 What “Pasalubong” Really Means 01:18 Why I’m Bringing My Dad Two Fishing Rods 02:41 My Dad’s First Ugly Stik 04:02 Fish Hooks, Bait, and Our Fishing Bonding Time 05:01 What I Got My Mom from America 06:35 Why Filipinos Love Western Chocolate 08:18 American Candy My Family Has Never Tried 10:17 Warheads, Pop Rocks, and the Taste Test Plan 11:17 The Whoopee Cushion Prank on My Mom 12:09 Why I’m Not Packing Clothes 12:42 Airport Chaos, Fuel Problems, and Rice Prices 13:35 What I’ll Film Once I’m Back Home 14:20 See You at 30,000 Feet If you want to see some of my exclusive videos not shown on YouTube, and chat with me in realtime several times a week, consider joining my Patreon page: 👉https://www.patreon.com/thefilipinapea 👉My videos and the effort I put into them are 100% free for everyone to enjoy, and all I ask is that you leave a thumbs-up on any videos that you like and subscribe to my channel - I have never, and will never, ask you for anything else.
