What happens when Korra finally enters the Spirit World - and it doesn’t go as planned? Actor and Avatar superfan Brandon Perea (Nope, The OA, Twisters) joins Janet and Dante to break down The Legend of Korra Book 2, Episode 9: “The Guide.” With his background in breakdancing, anime fandom, and spiritual exploration, Brandon brings fresh insight into Korra’s emotional turning point and the surreal beauty (and danger) of the Spirit World. From Tenzin’s surprising failure to Jinora’s rise as a spiritual prodigy, this episode dives deep into legacy, vulnerability, and what it really takes to connect with something bigger than yourself. Plus, Brandon shares his dream of joining the Avatar universe, his hilarious B-boy name, and how movement and meditation shaped his own journey - on and off screen.
