Kareem Soenharjo - Tapas (FULL ALBUM)

Paglalarawan

Kareem Soenharjo is the real name of musical enigma BAP., and ¼ of the even more mythical band BAPAK.. Kareem Soenharjo has released two musical projects under his birth name, “Portofolio” and “Companion Pieces for BAP.’s Third Album”, consisting of non-vocal musical arrangements that are both left-field, experimental, while also melancholic, moody, and humane. Kareem Soenharjo's true debut album is this one, titled “Tapas”. “Tapas” in Hinduism means “to burn” or “to suffer”. To burn in Kareem Soenharjo’s context is to push through life’s ascension and its bottomless pit, to be heated to infinity and be reborn out of its magma on a daily basis. To know what you have and to respect what you’ve lost. To know what might be unlovable and have the heart to love it anyway. This is “Tapas”. All songs written, arranged, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Kareem Pradipto Soenharjo. Additional piano on “Special Wishes 1” and “Summertime in The Abyss” by Chika Olivia. Released under Bosan Records. TAPAS IS FREE TO BE DOWNLOADED, PRODUCED INTO PHYSICAL MEDIA, SOLD AND DISTRIBUTED BY ANYONE IN ANY WAY YOU PLEASE.
