Karay Karay - Ali Zafar & Salman Paras

Paglalarawan

Ali Zafar presents “Karay Karay” – the fifth song in his ongoing tribute to Pakistan’s rich cultural and linguistic heritage. This time, we travel to the breathtaking northern region of Gilgit-Baltistan, with a powerful new release in the Shina language, celebrating the land, its people, and its soul. Following the success of previous tributes in Balochi, Sindhi, Pashto, and Siraiki, Karay Karay continues the journey of honoring Pakistan’s incredible diversity through music and visual storytelling. An act directed and produced by Ali Zafar, composed by Salman Paras, and written by Zafar Waqar Taj, this track captures the essence of Gilgit-Baltistan — its rugged beauty, timeless culture, and the warmth of its people. Shot against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the northern valleys, Karay Karay is a heartfelt celebration of unity, identity, and pride. ✦ Link to Spotify: https://bit.ly/KarayKaray-Spotify ✦ Stream the HQ Audio here: https://bit.ly/KarayKaray-AZ Video Credits: Directed, Produced & Edited by Ali Zafar Camera & Drone Operator – Abrar Khawaja Assistant Camera – Syed Muzammil Haider Second Camera – Zeeshan Shafa Color Grading – Post Brothers Audio Credits: Produced by Ali Mustafa & Ali Zafar Written by Zafar Waqar Taj Composition by Salman Paras English Translation by Riaz Akbar Programmed by Ali Mustafa & Ali Zafar Rubab, Baglama, and Mandolin by Haider Ali Mix by Ali Zafar & Ali Mustafa Mastered by Audio Animals Recorded at Lightingale Studios Special Thanks to Zarmina Masud Khan, Azaan Zafar & Fahad Mehmood at Glamp Pakistan.
