From teenage mother to Chartered Accountant: Cynthia’s story will inspire you!

Paglalarawan

At just 17, Cynthia’s dreams of becoming a Chartered Accountant seemed shattered when she became a teenage mother. Left to care for herself and her child, she moved from her village in Tsito, Volta Region, to Accra in search of opportunities. With support from SOS Children’s Villages in Ghana’s Family Strengthening programme, she completed her schooling, pursued a BSc in Accounting, earned an MBA, and became a fully certified Chartered Accountant. Today, Cynthia works as an Expenditure Accountant and continues to chase her dreams, inspiring young girls everywhere that no challenge is too big when you have determination, education, and support. #tellingourstories #WeareSOSChildrensVillages
