When the Dragon Kneels

In a kingdom where royal children are traditionally gifted guardian dragons at birth, Princess Mira was born during a mysterious eclipse and received no dragon. Considered unlucky and hidden away, she discovers on her eighteenth birthday that she has a rare ability to understand and communicate with all dragons, even wild ones no one can tame. When ancient enemy dragons threaten the realm, Mira's unique connection might be the only salvation—if she can convince her father and the royal court to trust her unorthodox power.
