The Carrero Heart 1: Beginning

Sophie Huntsberger escaped her abusive father and found solace in a new life with a loving adoptive family. She blossomed, thanks to her rock and best friend, Arrick Carrero. But lately, Sophie’s feeling a growing emptiness she can't ignore. Searching for something to fill the void, she realizes the answer has been in front of her all along—Arrick. As their innocent friendship turns complicated, emotions spiral and they must face the truth. Life, however, doesn't always let the heart prevail.
