Approaching Adventure: Understanding Heaven

Everyone knows death is coming. Christians possess the joyful belief of life beyond the grave; however, when the death a doctor is talking about is your own, personal faith cries out for understanding. The impending great adventure provokes our faith in ways that living cannot do. The irony is profound. The Approaching Adventure is a book about heaven. The bible is filled with understandable descriptions, and prophecies about heaven; this book illuminates them. Heaven is a real place not some surreal, mystical dimension. Originally written to encourage a dying friend in hospice, this book is for anyone who will eventually face death. If you are curious or even would like to be curious about the Bible this book is for you. One reader put it this way, “Had I known the bible was this interesting, I would have read it years ago.” Part two of the Approaching Adventure is a thorough Bible study providing detailed information concerning a Christian’s future after death. By using political analogies heaven’s governmental structure is made manifest. Persons interested in Israel and the Middle East will be amazed at the Old Testament’s illumination of the world’s political future.Read more
