People come to America every day to fulfill the ““American dream.” From all walks of life, they come to America searching for a better life, looking for protection, and leading a free life. But does America give them what they seek? America is not just capable of but also needs to receive more immigrants. There are some indicators showing that most factors affecting US decision-making do not support the idea that immigration is a problem. For example, public opinion on the issue of immigration is not straightforward, to say the least. The mounting desire to reduce immigration is driven, however, by those who vote Republican. Listen to this insightful documentary on the history and politics of immigration.
