Will AI Replace Human Judgment? With Dr. Gleb TSIPURSKY

الوصف

What happens when AI transformation stops being a technology problem — and becomes a human identity problem? In this thought-provoking episode of Beyond the Battlefield, Ankur Pancholi speaks with Dr. Gleb Tsipursky, behavioral scientist, consultant, and author of The Psychology of AI Adoption at Work: From Resistance to Results, to explore one of the defining leadership challenges of our time: How do organizations adopt AI without losing the human being in the process? The conversation begins where the Bhagavad Gita begins — with a capable warrior facing paralysis when action threatens his identity, relationships, and understanding of himself. Is today’s resistance to AI really just fear of job loss? Or are experienced professionals also protecting something deeper — their expertise, status, workflows, dignity, and professional identity?Dr. Gleb introduces different psychological profiles behind AI resistance, including AI alarmists, pragmatic resistors, and skeptical observers, and explains why a one-size-fits-all approach to AI transformation often fails.Together, Ankur and Dr. Gleb explore:• Why top-down AI mandates can create resistance instead of adoption• How leaders can build psychological safety while still accelerating transformation• Why AI should sometimes be approached like a highly capable new intern who still needs human context• The growing danger of poorly reviewed “AI work slop”• Why the future may value editing, judgment, evaluation, discernment, and taste more than simply producing first drafts• Why keeping a human in the loop remains critical• How organizations can balance AI capability with cost, productivity, and responsible implementation• Why refusing to adopt AI is itself a strategic decision with consequences• Whether employees who learn to work effectively with AI may replace those who refuse to adapt• And the deeper philosophical question: Can AI ever become the conscious knower — or will it always remain part of the field being known?Drawing parallels with the Bhagavad Gita’s teachings
