الوصف
“You’re f***ing crazy,” Donald Trump reportedly told Benjamin Netanyahu during a phone call last week about Lebanon. The exchange comes amid Israel's continued bombardment of Lebanon, which has killed more than 3,600 people and risks undermining US efforts to secure a deal with Iran. The New Arab's Managing Editor, Karim Traboulsi, explains what Trump's outburst could mean: does it signal a genuine rift in the US-Israel relationship, or is it a political stunt aimed at reassuring an increasingly sceptical American electorate that Trump remains firmly in control?
