A landmark Alberta court ruling has dismissed a proposed separation referendum, finding that it violates historic treaties and cannot proceed without consulting First Nations. Global's Jazan Grewal is joined by Nelson Wiseman, a Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Toronto, to discuss what the latest ruling could mean for the future of the movement. “I don’t really think it matters at all.
