The Third World War Begins in Donbas | Journalist Ulrich Heyden

الوصف

German journalist Ulrich Heyden discusses the growing pressure on critical reporters, including the closure of his German bank accounts after years of reporting from Russia and Ukraine. In this conversation, he explains his view of the Donbass conflict, the legacy of the Maidan, the Minsk agreements, and why Western media narratives often ignore the experiences of civilians in eastern Ukraine. Heyden also reflects on the different layers of the war: the internal Ukrainian conflict, the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation, and the broader NATO-Russia conflict. A sober conversation about journalism, censorship, war narratives, and the urgent need for diplomacy.
