The Old Spanish Treasure Cave

الوصف

Happy Heat Dome to all who celebrate! For those listening in the northern hemisphere, it's likely you are very, very warm. At podcast HQ in Memphis, it's recommended we drink water and stay indoors between 11 AM and November 2. It's pretty brutal. Where it's always a consistent and pleasant 58 degrees? The Old Spanish Treasure Cave in Gravette, Arkansas. I adore a roadside attraction. But one that comes with a very unexpected, non advertised supernatural twist? It was a spring break road trip adventure of a lifetime. Grab some road snacks and settle in for a Goonies-style tall tale of Spanish invaders, hidden treasure, and quite possibly a ghost in the darkest recesses of an underground cavern. Check out their website for photos of the cave and some of the artifacts mentioned in the story: https://spanish-treasure-cave.com Enjoy! And thank you as always for your support of the show!
