The NBA Playoff's WILD Weekend LIGHTS UP Gil's Arena as the Gil's Arena Crew reacts to the NBA Finals shaping up as the New York Knicks punched their ticket to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999 and the San Antonio Spurs got back on track by evening up the series against the OKC Thunder and pushed the Western Conference Finals into a best of 3 game series. They tip things off by breaking down Games 3 and 4 of the Western Conference finals and discuss how Victor Wembanyama is changing his game to counter the hostile strategy from the Thunder before debating if Shai Gilgeous Alexander is being officiated fairly during this series as the NBA MVP has yet to show up in a big way against the Spurs. They also react to Chet Holmgren being held in check by his rival the alien and debate if the Thunder will bounce back with such little help for SGA as Chet, Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell have all struggled to stay on the court. Next, they react to the New York Knicks finishing off the sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers to advance to the NBA Finals and debate where this Knicks' playoff run ranks all time as New York has glided through the NBA Playoffs, ripping off 11 straight wins since going down 2-1 to the Atlanta Hawks. They also discuss where Jalen Brunson sits amongst New York Knicks legends as the superstar point guard put the city on his back and debate if the team should be considered bigger contenders for the NBA Title as they rest up and wait for the Spurs and Thunder. They also break down what went wrong for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they went out sorry and debate if the team should blow it up after James Harden & Donovan Mitchell proved they do not have enough juice to overcome the best in the East. Finally, they react to the announcement of the All NBA Teams and debate who were the biggest winners and losers in the league's placement of their top 15 players.
