Syria: A New Chapter | S1 E5 | The Guest House Podcast

الوصف

In recent months following Syria’s independence we’ve seen a rapid series of events, both good and bad. As the new government tries to consolidate and unite the country following decades of brutal dictatorship and civil war, they are faced with many issues. But they’ve also made a lot of progress and show promising signs of ushering Syria into a newer, brighter period. In this episode, we go through some of the key events and provide context to better understand the current situation on the ground. We hope to further expand on this short episode with a series from which we can deep dive into Syria starting from the early years of Assad family rule until today.
