Before your feet even touch the floor, a thousand voices are already calling for your attention. The phone, the worries of yesterday, the demands of the day. But there is a better voice waiting quietly for you, the voice of the One who watched over you while you slept. When you talk to God before anything else, you set the order of your whole life and you tell heaven that He comes before all the noise. In this guided morning prayer and devotional you will be reminded: - That when you seek first the kingdom of God, everything else is added to you (Matthew 6 verse 33) - How Daniel opened his window and prayed at the start of his day, and was kept safe even among the lions (Daniel 6 verse 10) - That even Jesus rose a long while before daylight to meet His Father first (Mark 1 verse 35) - That God's mercies are new every morning, fresh bread you must gather before the day melts it away (Lamentations 3 verses 22 to 23; Exodus 16 verse 4) - How to trade your worry for His peace by bringing everything to Him first in prayer (Philippians 4 verse 6) Stay until the end and pray this blessed prayer with me in the mighty name of Jesus. Open your heart and receive peace for your mind, protection over your family, healing for your body, and the quiet strength that comes from seeking God before the world wakes.
