HADITH RELATED TO CORRUPTION / CONCEALMENT 1) Concealment of the Torah ruling Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: A Jewish man and woman were brought to the Prophet ﷺ for adultery. The Jews read from the Torah but covered the verse of stoning with their hand. The Prophet ﷺ exposed the verse and ordered the punishment. Source: Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim Meaning: Demonstrates intentional concealment of divine law still present in the scripture. 2) Caution regarding the People of the Book The Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not believe the People of the Book, nor disbelieve them.
