Jesus Christ Is Risen Today | Traditional Christian Easter Hymn | Catholic Choir w/ Lyrics

الوصف

“Jesus Christ Is Risen Today” is the classic Easter processional hymn, sung to the jubilant EASTER HYMN tune and long cherished across Christian traditions as a triumphant proclamation that Christ is truly risen. With its repeated “Alleluia” and joyful praise of the Lord who suffered on the cross to redeem our loss and now rises in glory, this hymn perfectly echoes the Easter Sunday Gospel in which the empty tomb is discovered and the Church rejoices in the victory of the Resurrection. Recorded live by the Sunday 7pm Choir at SFDS Parish, Ajax ON Canada. Thanks for listening and God bless! 🙏🏼 Song Title: Jesus Christ Is Risen Today Artist(s): Traditional text (14th‑century Latin carol, Lyra Davidica 1708, alt.); Tune: EASTER HYMN, from Lyra Davidica (1708), public domain Publisher: Public domain Lyrics Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia!
