Ishq Da Rang | Traditional Deep Soulful Punjabi Sufi Kalam & Qawwali Duet | Roohvani Studio

الوصف

Ishq Da Rang is a soulful Punjabi Sufi Qawwali about the transforming color of divine love the kind of Ishq that slowly dissolves the ego, turns longing into devotion, and makes the seeker realize: “Andar baahar tu hi tu.” Beginning with a soft female alaap, the song moves through longing, sleepless nights, the search for the beloved, and the timeless symbolism of Ranjha, Heer and the Sufi path. The male and female voices answer one another in traditional Punjabi call-and-response, gradually building toward an ecstatic Qawwali climax around “Sohna Yaar.” The spiritual heart of the song appears in the line: “Ishq de vich haar ke jeetna, Jis ne apna aap gawaya, Us ne sabh kuch paaya.” Inspired by the poetic tradition of Punjabi Sufism and the philosophy associated with Bulleh Shah, Ishq Da Rang explores surrender, selflessness, longing and the realization that the Beloved is not separate from the seeker. Musically, the arrangement follows a traditional Qawwali progression harmonium drone and melodic phrases, tanpura, tabla, dholak, handclaps, manjira and subtle sitar fills. The performance begins with an intimate slow alaap and gradually rises into a powerful, devotional Wajd-inspired climax. 🎧 Best experienced with headphones or in a quiet setting. Let the Ishq begin. Let the ego fade. Let the heart become Rangya. 🎼 SONG CREDITS: Song: Ishq Da Rang Genre: Punjabi Sufi Qawwali / Sufi Kalam Language: Punjabi Vocals: Female & Male Sufi Vocal Duet Vocal Style: Punjabi Call & Response, Melismatic Qawwali Vocals, Octave Harmonies Composition: Roohvani Studio Lyrics: Roohvani Studio Music Production: Roohvani Studio Arrangement: Roohvani Studio Vocal Arrangement: Roohvani Studio Mixing & Mastering: Roohvani Studio Musical Palette: Harmonium • Tanpura • Tabla • Dholak • Manjira • Sitar • Qawwali Handclaps Rhythm: 8-Beat Keherwa Performance Style: Traditional Pakistani/Punjabi Sufi Qawwali Production Character: Warm Dargah Reverb • Organic Acoustic Ensemble • Live Mehfil Atmosphere • Gradual Spiritual Crescendo ©
