If You Cannot Rest, You Do Not Trust God Yet

الوصف

In this episode of the Her and Jesus podcast, Isabel dives into a topic many believers wrestle with but rarely admit out loud: rest. Isa opens up about how the enemy often uses guilt to keep us striving even when our bodies and souls are begging for a pause. She unpacks what the world calls rest versus what the Word of God calls rest, and why biblical rest is not a reward for productivity. It is holy. It is obedience. It is a sign that you trust your Father. Through scripture and the story of manna in Exodus, Isabel shows how God sustains provision so His people can rest, and how Sabbath was always meant to reveal God as Provider. She also reminds us that rest is not doing nothing. It is trusting Jesus enough to stop performing, stop carrying what was never yours to hold, and return to the place of daughterhood. If you have been feeling restless, overwhelmed, or guilty when you slow down, this episode will bring conviction, clarity, and a fresh invitation to rest in Christ.
