From the USA to the Philippines: Her First Southern Meal

الوصف

What happens when a Filipina tries homemade Southern cooking for the very first time? 🍗🇺🇸 In this video, I went all out and made a full Southern-style meal from scratch—crispy fried chicken, creamy mashed potatoes with homemade gravy, fresh coleslaw, baked beans, and warm bread. This is the kind of food I grew up on… but for her, it’s a completely new experience. Watching her reaction to each bite was something special. From the crunch of the fried chicken to the comfort of the mashed potatoes and gravy, this turned into one of those moments you don’t forget. Living in the Philippines has been an adventure, but bringing a taste of home into it made this day even better. 👉 Would you try Southern food for the first time? 👉 What’s your favorite comfort meal from back home?
