Forget Kilimani — This Estate Is Quietly Taking Over 😮🇰🇪

Join me on this episode of Robinson Adventures as we explore OJ Estate, one of the fastest-growing residential areas in Ruiru Constituency, Kiambu County. Located just 27.3km from Nairobi CBD and bordering Membley Estate, Ruiru Town, and Kihunguro, OJ sits right along the Eastern Bypass and near Tatu City and Thika Road. OJ is a middle-income estate known for its rising modern apartments, active business streets, and fast urban development. From nyama choma joints to wines and spirits shops, the center is full of life and opportunity. Though still developing, OJ offers a serene and affordable lifestyle away from the busy city. We also highlight some challenges like murram roads, limited access to clean water, and lack of a market — but the estate's potential is huge and growing by the day. Was the name OJ inspired by the famous club or does it mean Old Junction? Let us know in the comments!
