الوصف

In this episode of #ItsNeverThatSerious, I sit down with Anyiko Owoko — a defining force in African music PR and the powerhouse behind some of the continent’s biggest artist careers. From starting out on TV to being an integral part of Sauti Sol’s foundation and leading PR campaigns for Coke Studio Africa, E! Entertainment, and Jägermeister, Anyiko has built an agency that works with artists and brands across Africa — amplifying authentic African stories to the world. We talk about her journey, what people get wrong about PR, and why some managers need to stop acting like they are the artists (hot take). She also opens up about her guilty pleasure (crime documentaries), her unexpected celebrity crush, and the biggest lesson she’s learned about navigating relationships and longevity in the public eye. If you love conversations with women who are shaping culture, telling stories, and choosing their own path, this one is for you. Watch. Listen. Share. New episodes every week.
