This is an educational and inspirational storytelling video, not a depiction of real events or people. Sometimes your soul feels tight. Your heart feels squeezed. You can’t breathe. Depression, anxiety, obsessions… and the same fear keeps returning: “The worst will happen.” But what if this is not only a psychological struggle? What if Allah is sending a message through this pressure? In this episode, we explore tightness of the soul through an Islamic lens—drawing on insights associated with Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, the concept of Latifa-i Rabbaniye, and how a person’s inner spiritual faculties can become wounded, neglected, or revived. You’ll hear why: Someone can have “everything” and still feel empty The soul cannot be satisfied by temporary pleasures Fear and greed damage ikhlas from the inside Spiritual faculties (“latifas”) produce pain when they lose their true duty Real relief begins when the heart reconnects to Allah, the akhirah, and meaning This video is not here to shame you. It is here to help you understand what is happening inside you—and where to begin. If you are living this tightness, you are not alone.
