#412: A Very Unlikely Team - Mark part 11

الوصف

📚 Series: The Gospel of Mark Mark 3:7–19 🎧 Episode Summary: Why would Jesus choose these men? In today’s episode, we step into a moment where crowds are pressing in from every side—people eager to see Jesus, hear Him, and be healed. But then, something quieter—and just as important—happens. Jesus goes up on a mountainside… and begins calling people to Himself. One by one, He chooses twelve men—very different from each other—to be His apostles. But this wasn’t random. In this episode, kids will learn: Why Jesus chose twelve apostles What the word “apostle” means How this connects to the 12 tribes of Israel Why Jesus chose such a variety of people And what this teaches us about the family of God This story helps children see that the good news of Jesus isn’t just for one kind of person—it’s for everyone. 🧠 Key Teaching Moment: Jesus didn’t choose the same kind of people. He chose a very unlikely team—men with different jobs, personalities, and backgrounds. Why? Because the Gospel is for all people. 👉 Even though we are all different, Christians are brought together by one thing: We believe in Jesus. We love Him. And we follow Him. 2 Ways to keep the impact going!!!!
