The question is not "do you believe?" The question is "what is the cost?"For decades, the debate over unidentified aerial phenomena has been dismissed as mythology. But when a decorated war hero dies chasing a metallic object over Kentucky, when a forestry worker is assaulted in the Scottish woods, or when an entire flight of nuclear missiles is disabled by a silent, hovering craft, the cost becomes terrifyingly real.Journey into the declassified archives and official records of the deadliest encounters on record. Fly alongside elite military pilots as their state-of-the-art jets are shut down by an invisible force over Cold War Tehran. Stand with soldiers at a top-secret UK base as they witness a craft land and emit radiation. Uncover the chilling medical evidence from civilian eyewitnesses who were burned by a strange light and suffered a lifetime of physical trauma. From the inexplicable disappearance of an F-89 Scorpion over Lake Superior to the stunning, real-time audio of a 747 crew’s encounter with an object "the size of an aircraft carrier," this book moves beyond speculation. It presents the hard evidence, the credible testimony, and the disturbing patterns that officials have tried to deny for more than seventy years. These are not ghost stories.
