The Sayer

Have you ever wondered where Jesus went while his body was entombed after crucifixion? After the stone was found to be moved and the tomb was empty, many have speculated where Jesus could have been during those three days before Resurrection Sunday. MQ Ashcraft boldly reimagines these three days as the opportunity for Jesus, or "The Son of the Great Spirit," to impart God's teachings to the spiritual leader, or Sayer, of a secluded tribe of Native Americans. Many years later, follow the transformative journey of our young male protagonist, navigating challenges set forth by his family's Sayer, the holy man and vessel of the "Son of the Great Spirit." He faces the challenges of westward expansion, conflicts with other groups of angry and unpredictable indigenous peoples, and the pressures of his spiritual journey. Dive into the profound power of faith, wisdom, and the enduring impact of the Divine.Read more
