The Rejected Stone: Building on the Unshakable Foundation

The Rejected Stone is a study of our spiritual foundation. It is the Stone the builders rejected. Peter tells us in his First Epistle that this stone, which was rejected of the religious rulers of Jesus time, became the “Head of the Corner”. It is a study of contrasting opinions. Those who rejected Christ were steeped in religious tradition and were threated by the truth who had come in human form; that is the Word made flesh. It is about truth and deception. A clear and Biblical approach to understanding the difference between truth and error is used to bring the reader to conclusions that are verifiably true. The verification of beliefs is shown to come by two or three witnesses according to the instructions of the scriptures themselves. The statement of Jesus that the scriptures cannot be broken is a fundamental precept upon which the writing is based.Insight into several basic, but often taken for granted, subjects is given in a readable and systematic manner. The challenge is given to the reader to search out for themselves these basic truths using scripturally based methods. The conclusions are not force-fed dogmas put forth by strict religious traditions. But they do come by revelatory insight as the gentle illumination of the Spirit of God brings to light many scriptures that, although are familiar, have often not fully been understood.Be ready to have an enjoyable but challenging time as your read this revealing Book, which delves into a subject that must not be overlooked. Will we find the stone who is Christ Jesus to be precious or will He continue to be the Rejected Stone?Read more
