The Lancet

For two centuries, The Lancet has sought to address urgent topics in our society, initiate debate, put science into context, and influence decision makers around the world. Today the Lancet family of journals publishes leading research across the full spectrum of clinical and global health, retaining at its core the belief that medicine must serve society, that knowledge must transform society, that the best science must lead to better lives. Videos on this channel reveal details of research, empower authors to present their work in their own words, and explore the implications of key developments in science and health. Video abstracts and clinical picture videos showcase researchers giving succinct summaries of critical research or striking clinical cases, while features on recent research or our journals themselves invite you to consider how the advancement and sharing of knowledge can transform society.
