The Frankenstein Candidate

A STORY THAT PROVOKES, EDUCATES, AND ENTERTAINS It's November 2019, and another U.S. presidential election season approaches.Senator Olivia Allen—brilliant and beautiful—signs onto the Democratic presidential ticket, unaware of powerful forces that seek either to control her or destroy her.Her opponents are Frank Kenneth Stein, a billionaire who would rather be forthright than President, and Quentin Kirby, the power-hungry, Republican vice president. As the campaign advances toward an electrifying climax, their brutal maneuvers play out against a backdrop of national crises. Hyperinflation looms and bloody riots sweep the country. For Olivia, however, the greatest perils lie in the corridors of Washington power, as she finds herself becoming a mere pawn in a deadly game of entrapment, blackmail, and assassination. Can she turn the tables—ensuring America’s survival as well as her own?“A very enjoyable story. An intricate and suspenseful plot. I never lost interest.”—Joseph Ducie, Cedar Sky Publishing“Vividly rendered, flawed, and interesting characters. An engaging multilayered plot.”—Glenn Dallas, San Francisco Book Review“A brilliantly plotted and consummately executed story of political ideas, intrigue, and a vision of what could be. This is the kind of writing, and Vinay Kolhatkar the kind of thinker and writer, that changes minds and ultimately cultures.”—Walter Donway, Founding Trustee, Atlas Society (a Washington DC based think-tank).“This book is a fantastic read. Once I started reading it, I could not put it down. While the plot is detailed and credible, it makes for an easy read for a political novice. There are parts of the book that, had it been a movie, would have had you sitting at the edge of your seat.”—T. Thomas, columnist, Indus Age"A captivating novel."--C. Sudarshan, Indian Link Magazine"Full of twists and turns."--S. Sabhlok, Liberty Australia"It tells a great story."--Jon VanZile, Editing for Authors“The Frankenstein Candidate is an excellent novel.”— Tim Sondalini, Mannkal’s Musings Magazine
