That Reminds Me Of A Story: Stories told, mostly made up but fun to listen to anyway. Grandpa Charlie has a way of making you believe, even if you know you shouldn't

Welcome to the front porch ofPossum Neck, Arkansas—where the tea is sweet, the air is thick with crickets and mischief, and Grandpa Charlie’s rocking chair creaks with more secrets than a preacher at a pie auction.InThat Reminds Me of a Story, you’re about to experience twenty outrageous, side-splitting, and possibly-not-entirely-true tales straight from the mouth of the South’s most animated storyteller. From possessed hams and time-warping lawnmowers to ghost-filled outhouses and championship possum pageants, these stories walk the fine line between “that never happened” and “but what if it did?”Told in Grandpa Charlie’s unmistakable drawl, with more down-home charm than a catfish fry during a full moon, this collection invites you to kick back, loosen your belt, and prepare for laughter so hard you’ll cry (and maybe snort sweet tea out your nose).Perfect for anyone who enjoys homespun hilarity, Southern storytelling, and tales that make youwantto believe—even when you know better. The rocking chair’s waiting. Let’s get to it.Read more
