Sedulity (Book One) Impact

Sedulity (noun) Constant in purpose and intent, assiduous, steadfast, tireless, indefatigable. From the author of "Voyage of the Dead" and the "Sovereign Spirit Saga" comes a whole new type of apocalypse. Inspired by "Lucifer's Hammer" and other classic science fiction novels, David Forsyth brings the fear, suspense and thrilling action of "end of the world as we know it" fiction into focus aboard a cruise ship en route to Australia when an asteroid strikes the Central Pacific Ocean. Whatever image that description evokes is nothing compared to the epic forces of nature, human drama, and catastrophic loss you will encounter in this book. Not for the faint of heart. Read at your own risk. The scariest part is that this story is based on real scientific possibilities. "Deep Impact" meets "The Poseidon Adventure" in this thrilling apocalyptic adventure. (Revised Edition - June 2014) For fans of Forsyth's other work, sorry, no zombies in this one. But if you like the idea of facing the end of the world on a ship at sea (as in Voyage of the Dead), then you should enjoy this adventure too. Who needs zombies when the world itself turns against you? "Like the Rogue asteroid in Forsyth's blistering tale of a modern apocalypse, Sedulity took me by complete surprise when I started reading...and didn't let go until I had devoured the entire novel--in short order!...This isn't simply a story about the trials and tribulations of the crew and passengers of the Sedulity. Forsyth's vision extends far beyond my simple assumption, and promises to deliver an incredible post-apocalyptic series on par with Lucifer's Hammer. I eagerly await the second installment." - Steven Konkoly, Bestselling author of THE JAKARTA PANDEMIC, THE PERSEID COLLAPSE, and BLACK FLAGGED Praise for Forsyth's Voyage of the Dead & Sovereign Spirit Saga: "The Sovereign Spirit Saga takes the zombie apocalypse in a disturbing new direction. David P. Forsyth brings a fresh, exciting voice to the genre and keeps the thrills coming hard and fast." - Jonathan Maberry
