Love At War

It’s 1940. World War Two. Germany is on the rampage. The Battle of Britain is at its height. The Royal Air Force is all that stands between England and invasion. Jennie is a young woman from the Welsh valleys. Petite. Slender. Quite plain. Teeth a bit too big. Mouth too wide. She’s quite willing to admit it. She gives herself no airs or graces. Over the coming months, while England’s fate lies in the balance, Jennie is forced to confront the demons in her past, and try to decide how to deal with Malcolm…the biggest devil of them all, however gorgeous… What will she do? What should she do? Should she punish him? Tear his eyes out? Give him a second chance? A second chance to humiliate her? Or play him along, and discard him at her convenience? Will she come to terms with what he means to her? She is tormented by him, and her feelings for him, but is determined not to act in any way which might demean herself. She is proud. She is independent-minded. She will bow down to no man… Well, not again… But…at times…when he’s next to her, gazing at her with those beautiful, blue eyes…Read more
