Lighten Up: "New Thought" on the Parables of Jesus

The teachings of Jesus contain some major league spiritual Truth. An entire religion was created from them "for God's sake!" But do we really understand them? Have we plunged the depths of this mega-spiritual wisdom, or has our understanding of them remained on the surface? Jesus spoke in code. He said, "Let those who have eyes see, and those who have ears hear." Our human ego understands the surface and literal meaning of Jesus' parables, but we must connect with our "True Self" to glean the deeper, hidden, and true meaning of this ageless wisdom. In "Lighten Up," this deeper meaning is explored from a metaphysical perspective. Jesus was trying (and still tries, within each of us) to teach us how to think, how to perceive True Reality, and experience the Kingdom of Heaven within right here and now. Don't just read this book, discuss it with someone you trust, or use it to teach a class. Something amazing and miraculous happens when you dig into this timeless wisdom using your metaphysical senses: Not only does your mind begin to quiet, but your thinking changes, and an entirely new way of perceiving and experiencing life, Universal Spirit, and your "True You" will reveal itself.Read more
