Letters From Shark Bait: Tales of Diving the Marshall Islands

Having a tough day? The stress of the job getting to you? Our author had those thoughts, so he decided to dive into a lagoon and swim with sharks. Living in the equatorial Pacific, working in a new hotel, the logical choice was to join a dive club and take the plunge. The breathtaking beauty of the abundant reef life, spectacular drop offs along the outer reef walls and close encounters with the toothy denizens that patrol the seas. Encounters with white and black tipped sharks, then the very close encounters with large grey reefs. As the authors dive buddy once said, “with all the things that have to be dealt with on the surface, diving with Bob, “Shark Bait” as I call him, puts things in perspective when you become just another link in the food chain.” Join the adventure, with just a little imagination you too can dive in and explore the wonders of the Marshall Islands under the sea.Read more
