Just Lionel Richie

Just who is the real Lionel Richie, anyway? Is he the former Commodores frontman who broke out as a solo star in 1982 with tenderhearted pop ballads like “Truly”? Or the R&B maestro who turned out party-starting smashes like “Dancing on the Ceiling”? What about the earthy Alabaman who hinted at his country inclinations on twang-tinged tracks like “Stuck on You” and eventually took the full-on Nashville plunge? Actually, he's all of these things and more.
