Canal Crime

Driven by his pursuit of the American Dream, German immigrant Richmond Gruber accidentally commits a murder to cover up a financial theft. To escape justice, he continuously changes his identity, moving across the US and killing again whenever someone threatens to expose his lies. Years later, living as Rick Kennedy, a wealthy real estate figure and father, his past catches up with him after a bitter divorce. His desperate decision to kidnap his own son triggers an Amber Alert, leading to his arrest and finally unmasking the serial shapeshifter's true identity. Director: Cary Millman
