And Still, I Breathe

Everything about sixteen-year-old Clara Howard is perfect; she's popular, beautiful, and smart. Even her parents are the picture of perfection. Nothing lasts forever. After suffering a horrific experience at the hands of an unknown assailant, Clara is returned to her perfect life and treated as though nothing happened. Three months later, no one seems to know the truth, not even Clara herself.Desperate to find answers, she begins questioning everything she thought she knew, only to discover the more questions she asks, the more holes are poked in her picture-perfect life. Behind the lies, Clara discovers a truth more disturbing than she'd imagined. Everything is crashing down around her and everyone she loves is in danger. When the local authorities are put under a microscope, Agent Declan Holder of the FBI arrives to investigate the crimes. Can they uncover the truth before Clara is consumed by her nightmares? This is a young adult standalone book but FBI Agent Declan Holder and his team from Amanda's "Left Unspoken" and "Missing Intuition" make a guest appearance!★★★★★I definitely think this book deserves the 5 star rating I gave it for so many reasons. For starters I couldn’t put it down. The chapters are short and intriguing always making you want to keep going to see what happens next. You get to play the guessing game trying to figure out exactly what happened to Clara and who the real culprit is & when you find out, it’s actually pretty shocking. -Goodreads Reader.Read more
