Wings over DixieSequel to West from DixieWings Over Dixie picks up with Cody Ashby, the son of legendary Confederate officer Caleb Ashby, a quiet, capable man caught between the past he never knew and the future he’s building by hand. With the help of mountain man Cat Jenkins, Cody sets out to retrace his father’s footsteps and confront the legacy that still echoes across the WestNow, back in the mountains his father once roamed, Cody is laying down a legacy of his own, one not carved by a rifle or saddle, but by the whine of a new engine and the rise of modern aviation.Alongside his brave and bright-eyed wife, Izzy, Cody turns a forgotten army fort into a frontier airstrip just as war simmers overseas. But life on the edge of progress never runs smooth. Old loyalties, new love, and one broken woman with nowhere else to go stir tensions that no blueprint can solve. As enemies surface and hearts entangle, Cody is forced to ask himself what kind of man he wants to be and what it means to carry the Ashby name into skies his father never imagined.Read more
